Our Instructor Team

Jeff Sullens Sensei is our chief instructor. He has 0ver 30 years of training and has been teaching since 1995. He holds a 6th degree black belt (Roku dan).

Venable Scott, "Mr. Scotty" holds a 5th degree black belt in Goju Ryu Karate and a 1st degree in Okinawan Kobudo (weapons). The dojo's senior statesman he brings wisdom and a sense of calm to the dojo.

Pat Polvinale Sensei, he holds a 5th degree black (Godan) in Goju Ryu karate and a 2nd degree black belt in Seido karate. He has over 30 years of training.

Dan Fusco a 3rd degree black belt (Sandan) in Goju Ryu Karate. A smart and charismatic instructor who leads by example. Training with us since 2015.

Kris Britton is a 2nd degree black belt (Nidan) Goju Ryu Karate. He has experience in Tae Kwon Do and Judo. He brings high energy and a sense of humor. Mr. Kris has been a fixture of the dojo since 2018.

Mr. Rick is an original dojo member and our first new black belt from 2014.  He holds a shodan 1st degree black belt in Goju Ryu Karate as well as a brown belt in Aikido. A fitness fanatic he keeps the dojo members strong and flexible.
